Essentially downloading the mods goes to steam/workshop folder but are not being moved. I have tried reinstalling steam and EU4 I have tried unenabling and reinabling the steam sync 10/10/ · Steam Workshop is not downloading or not installing my mods for Crusader Kings II. Mods for Stellaris appear to download and install just fine. I do not know when it stopped working but I noticed it a week ago. I already reached out to Steam Support for help but they could not locate the root cause of the issue

Samodov View Profile View Posts, steam not downloading mods. For the past few days the Steam Workshop has not installed any mods. I have subscribed to a few and it will instantly say that the mod is downloaded in the Downloads menu but will not appear in game.
For example in Europa Universalis 4 all of my newly subscribed mods which steam said it downloaded have not appeared. I have tried unsubbing, clearing my download cache, exiting steam, deleting appcache folder, restarting steam, resubscribing. None of these work. Thanks in advance. Showing 1 - 15 of 17 comments. just restarted steam again and the client removed all of my games from their categories. I only had 2 in my favorites and one in my "Currently Playing" category when originally there were many. png No changes i can see that the redistributables work. I'm going steam not downloading mods restart steam once more. Before I do I am going to unsubscribe from some mods that haven't installed and delete ones that are installed as well as their files in the mods folder and workshop folders.
We'll see how it goes. I have no game updates going on, just the workshop is downloading. Alright I buckled down and reinstalled the games affected. Still is not working, steam not downloading mods. I'm having this exact some problem. I'm at a complete loss too. It seems like the eu4 mods and other Paradox games are just kinda messed up on the steam workshop. THE ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED Thank you very much to Steam Support for helping me through this. Here I will paste the instructions they gave me that fixed the issue: If steam not downloading mods already have these enabled, un-check then check them again to fix any bugs.
